Not in the UK, but you might have to if you're anywhere else in the world. One or two wigs likely won't cost you anything extra, but the law is different for every country, so read up on your country's import laws if you want to be sure. We do not cover import fees, you are fully responsible.
First and foremost, make sure to store your wig away in a safe place. You can use the pouch it comes in as a storage bag if you don't have anything to store it in. This is to prevent the wig from tangling. Don't be afraid to give your wig a good brush, this helps them looking nice and natural! Be gentle when brushing.
Never
detangle a wig by starting
above a knot because that pulling only makes the knot tighter. You
might end up breaking and pulling the hair. The
most important thing when brushing a wig is to always start from the
bottom. Work your way up, meaning brush out the ends of the section first.
There are lots of useful Youtube video's on this if you can't work it out!
WASHING
If your wig needs a wash, fill a bucket or a sink e.g. with cold water. Add a couple of drops of washing up liquid. Add your wig to the mix and leave for 5-10 minutes. Take our your wig and leave to dry naturally, do not use a blow dryer.
STYLING
Even though the wigs look great as they are, you might want to style them. All wigs look amazing in a half up ponytail, with space buns, braided etc. Don't be afraid to experiment! All wigs take heat. Straighteners and curling irons are safe to use. 180c degrees or lower is the recommended temperature for most of the wigs, however, in some rare cases, a lower temperature is recommended. Read the wig specifications in the wig's listing if you want to be sure.
